Just read on my Facebook feed that one vet friend has won the Avebury 10k, another is the Sprint Triathlon age group champion, and the incredible Laura Muir came 3rd in the Oregan Diamond League race behind some very handy Kenyans. It wasn’t until I had children that I developed a decent perspective. Work stresses were all consuming. I am a terrible ruminator and just couldn’t leave work at work. Having a family has helped me keep work in perspective – the health and happiness of my family is so much more important.

10 minutes… for owners who turns up 3 minutes late, on crutches so they take 2 minutes to get into the room, can’t restrain their animal and can’t agree on when the last dog ate, you often end up with about 3 minutes of useful consultation time.
